Traffic GB specialises in the installation of inductive loops.  Inductive loop cutting involves specific-depth cutting into the road surface to install cables and sensors used to monitor traffic volume and traffic flow, followed by resealing the surface.  Inductive loops can also detect traffic approaching traffic lights to turn signals, and raise/lower barriers.

Traffic GB has all the necessary permits to undertake loop cutting and other roadworks on cycle paths to highways.  Every site is installed to latest MCH1540 specifications as required by the Highways Agency and Department of Transport.

Traffic Management services are provided for all works undertaken which require a partial or full road closure, and all activity is undertaken to Chapter 8 standards.  Traffic Management services can be provided for third party works if required, for small lane roadside works up to full motorway closures. 

Road Space Booking services can be provided for any works undertaken anywhere in the UK.  This service is automatically undertaken as part of any civil works and loop cutting undertaken by Traffic GB, and can be undertaken on behalf of third party works as well.
